English

English is a core subject that all students study from Year 7 to 11. In year 10 and 11, students study two GCSE subjects: English Language and English Literature. The skills required for both subjects are taught in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. English provides a solid foundation for success in all aspects of the curriculum.
