As per the guidance issued by the Department for Education, Q3 Academies Trust will be issuing electronic vouchers where we have a valid email address for parent/carers of children at our academies. These vouchers are provided through the EdenRed website and guidance may be found here.
Only children who are in receipt of active Free School Meals (that usually means that you need to have applied when you joined the Academy) will receive these vouchers. If you have previously received these at another school, you may have to reapply. Most children at our academies are handled by Sandwell MBC’s team. Therefore if you are in doubt or feel that you may qualify during this difficult time, please go to https://www.sandwell.gov.uk/forms/form/16/free_school_meals for additional information and useful contacts.
If you wish to provide an email address to have your vouchers sent to and have not previously supplied one, please send your child’s name, date-of-birth, year group, registration group, your name, relationship to the child and a valid email address to receive the vouchers to email@example.com.
The Trust will be issuing these vouchers every Monday for the full week’s allowance. This currently stands at £3.00 per day as set by the Government. Therefore, for every full week of lockdown, you will receive a £15.00 voucher every Monday via email to redeem within one month of issue. The issue of these may be delayed by the speed of the Government’s system. If you do you do not receive your code by Wednesday of that week, please contact the respective Academy using the email addresses above.
Where we have the same email address for multiple children within an Academy, one voucher code will be issued to that contact email. For example, if you have two children attending an academy, you will receive a £30.00 voucher every Monday.
For those parents/carer who have not yet provided an email address, the Academy will release an update shortly regarding collection arrangements . Voucher codes will not be posted out.
